The dream

I had a really weird dream last night. I should of written it down when I woke up. However here it is 10:00 at night…and, I am writing what I can remember. The dream was important.
I got the feeling that I was being told I could just ask. You know, go back in time….to another time, and ask, or consult with the elders.

I was walking down the hall, in a barn of sorts, maybe even a castle. And eagles and hawks were perched above on either side of me when some how I was instantly in another time. I was welcomed. I knew them, they knew me…expected me actually…
Then I was back in our time.
I am going to ask tonight for more insight… I hope to write more soon.

Just something I have been thinking about…

Have you ever really thought about our emotions. Let break it down, and take a look at these crazy little words that rule our earthly existence.

That’s what they are right? Mere words.
Fear, lust, love, weakness, joy, happiness, sadness, disappointment, anger, jealousy, depression, loneliness, content…these are a few that come to my mind. So…Do the emotions that first pop into your head have a direct meaning in your life? I think everything means something. So yes, it does mean something. Theses are the emotions we have at the forefront of our mind. So for whatever they must have some meaning to us.

When you think of emotions what are the first ones that come your mind…

Here is an exercise to try…
Write down the first five emotions that you think of.
Next to each of the five words, write a description of that word. In your own words, no dictionaries.
Then read your list, your definitions. What ones felt more personal then the other, why… How can you change the emotion. Do you even want to. Is this emotion serving you, or is it hindering you or your growth.

Another interesting exercise is place a name of a person next to the emotion…

Next to your first group of five emotions…make a new list of emotions you didn’t list in the first group. Are these emotions ones you would like more of…or are you happy (or even slightly surprised) that they are not in you first group.

Now that we have made ourselves really think about emotions…let’s go one step further…besides the definition, can you explain the emotion? Explain to me as if I were an alien… And did not know what the word meant. Would you be able? Are some harder for you than others. Do you know what they feel like…technically…and feeling wise?
Do we play out out emotions based on preprogramed data we have watched or read about, or off of actual felt experience?

Weird, I know…
Basically all these emotions are first created in our heads…so, as they are forming, or being created can’t we change them? Change the course of our thoughts. Create a better feeling/emotion? Can’t we take control of our emotions by molding them to benefit us, help teach us, mold us.

Just something to think about…

Let your love shine!

Hello all.
I have not been as connected as I wish I had been lately.
Last week I went to my Thursday class, really needing the class. I never know what we are going to work on until I get there, and this one I needed. I had already told Michelle that I was not going to make it…wasn’t in the mood. Ha! For whatever reason…about an hour before class I knew I needed to go. I changed some things around and made it only 5 minutes late….

We talked about manifesting. Asking for what you want and working towards it… Or actually working with a manifestation wheel. I was instantly frustrated…I have a commitment issue with choices, I am so afraid to pick something. Actually it’s not even that…it’s as soon as you ask me to pick something I want all I do is second guess my choice. So much that I talk myself out of everything. I end up with I want to be happy… Great, doesn’t everyone? I mean really, who stands up and says oh… I really want to struggle and be sad all the time. Arg!!! I get so angry with myself. I knew…Right then, this is why you are here. This, Jackie, is why you changed your day to make class.
Now…have I filled out the wheel… Started working on what it is I “want”? Nope. Ha!!! Just because I know what I need to work on does not mean it’s easy or that I have miraculously jumped my barrier and have done it. It means I am once again reminded that I need to figure this out. It actually doesn’t even have anything to do with what I want anymore. It’s about giving myself permission….permission to…want. It is also about accepting…receiving. I need to learn how to do these things.
Was this a clairvoyant moment??? Not necessarily, but… There was a big piece of divine intervention going on. And remembering to listen to the messages we receive.

Now let’s go back to earlier that day… When I called Michelle to tell her I was not going to make it… Well we chatted a bit and I told her that the week was really going crazy for me. That we needed to get together soon to do a one on one… I was feeling lost, confused, and just out of sorts. She listened and directed me to a website called she said that the may be some information there I would find intestine and helpful. I hung up, and pulled the website up immediately. The website pulled up… And bam the first thing I see is The October 2011 forecast “turning point” with a big Uturn sign. It seemed to resonate with me. I read it…and thought wow… There were so many things in my life this could be about… Sooo many. I found the information amazing and really helpful. It wasn’t until 5 days later that I had my ah ha moment… And everything really made sense.
If you get a chance, please read the October forecast. It is the season of turning points what…is yours?

Man… I have sooooo much to say tonight. Catching up!

Been looking at another blog site… Thinking of maybe switching. Have not committed to the decision yet… Ha ha ha ha!!!!

Ok…really quick, I want to share one of my motorcycle meditation experiences.
My husband and I have been utilizing the bike whenever our time and the weather permits. Our main goal is to enjoy the great Colorado landscape and experience new places as often as we can. Two weekends ago, we took a ride on one of our older familiar routes…that we have not been on for quite a while. I missed it, the moment we turned onto the road, I thought….wow, why has it been so long since we have been here. It is sooooo beautiful. And it dawned on me… That, it is one of the closest routes to our home…and I don’t have any pictures… I take it so for granted. Next time…I will bring my camera!
Now here is the thing I really wanted to share…. Remember what I keep saying….about how important it is to listen…hear the messages that we are receiving. Well, as we are riding along I feel this overwhelming sense of love….joy….happiness. My heart literally feels full. As I am acknowledging this amazing surge of love and energy… I hear this voice. Now…it’s really hard to type the sound of this voice, so hopefully many of you have seen the movie Elf. The voice I heard sounded like the Norwahl that pops out of the ice and to say hello to Buddy. Lol! Really no joke… This is the voice I am hearing. And it is saying… Hi Jackie… Over and over and over again. The rocks, the cliffs, the mountain and boulders are actually talking to me.

The energy was reciprocated…we felt each other, we missed each other. Some thing I think is important for us to remember is, we don’t just receive energy…other people’s energy…we give off our own.

I think that when we do this, the energy we take with us holds that much more power…more meaning. The love and positivity multiplies.
So… Like the Bellamy Brothers sang….

There’s a reason for the sunshine sky’s
There’s a reason why I’m feeling so high
Must be the season when that love light shines all around us

So let that feeling grab you deep inside
And send you reeling where your love can’t hide
And then go stealing through the moonlit night with your lover

Just let your love flow like a mountain stream
And let your love grow with the smallest of dreams
And let your love show and you’ll know what I mean it’s the season
Let your love fly like a bird on a wing
And let your love bind you to all living things
And let your love shine and you’ll know what I mean that’s the reason….

Great song!

Today’s thoughts

I have been noticing lately when I have been grounding myself….that instead of imagining a tree with the roots in the ground….I have the branches in the ground, and my roots open to spirit.

I have thought about it, and I think that the reason is that lately I am feeding my spirit/soul with spirit energy.

Possibly the the wolf that presented itself to me in my meditation was a message of insight. The deer that I keep seeing is a message to not leave behind my family…to not forget to remain grounded. To balance my growth. To balance my family and remember to be kind, compassionate, and to practice communicating from compassion.

This is a task that should be so easy, because I love them so much. But, for some reason communicating from a state of ultimate kindness, is not as easy as it sounds. The deer reminds me, to remember to communicate from my heart chakra.

Ultimately we all should remember to communicate from our heart chakra. By communicating from our hearts we communicate without ulterior motive, we communicate for the greater good.

This what the deer is telling me. To laugh, love, enjoy life. Be aware of your surroundings…but don’t let your surroundings take over. Remember grace, beauty, peace and humility.

As for the wolf…to me you need to think of what can be. Think about your spiritual growth…your commitment to family. One thing the wolf reminds me…is that no matter what others perceive of you…you know you. You must remember that you need to live for what you believe in, and stand for what you love.

Something about the wolf…to me the wolf is inspires me. The wolf also makes me think of medieval times, which in turn…. Makes me smile. And gives me a small sense of…home.

Good night.

So I have been experiencing some symbolism lately…seeing deer lately. Coming home from work Friday night I stopped at the mailbox and while in the car looking through my mail I saw this doe…just standing on the other side of the street looking at me. She just looked at me and then crossed the street. We just stood there looking at each other, neither in a hurry to go anywhere. Today I was on my deck looking over towards the mountains when I noticed a doe in my neighbors garden. Thought she was by her self but when I walked over to her, she started walking away towards a group of three bucks.

I decided that I need to look up the meaning of the deer.
Here is what I found.

Deer Symbolism

When we encounter the deer in the wild, our breath catches – we are transfixed by their graceful features and delicate movements. The tender beauty of these beasts has not gone unnoticed by our ancestors.

The deer is linked to the arts, specifically poetry and music in ancient Celtic animal lore due to its graceful form. The Celts also believed that deer were associated with the fairie realm, and would lead troops of fairies – hundreds of them trailing behind them as the stag cut a path through the forest.

Both Celts and Native Americans observed the deer to be savvy when it came to finding the best herbs. These earth-bound peoples would follow the deer to prime herb patches – many of which proved to be highly beneficial in their medicinal purposes.

A quick-list of animal symbolism of the deer include:

How does this translate into our own life experience?

Just as the deer has an uncanny sense of where to find the green freshness earth provides, we can ask the deer within ourselves to seek out our inner treasures. In meditation or day dream, go on a spiritual hike with the deer. See yourself walking in the woods with the deer leading you into amazing depths within your soul. Each step you and the deer take will lead you deeper into your spiritual knowing, and to limitless treasure within.

The deer (particularly the doe, females) has the capacity for infinite generosity. Their heart rhythms pulse in soft waves of kindness. Match that graciousness by offering your trust to her. She will reward you by leading you to the most powerful spiritual medicine you can fathom.

In China the deer is a symbol of happiness and good fortune. Indeed, its name in Chinese is a homonym for the word abundance.

The deer is associated with:

The Dawn
The Moon
The Easterly directions
Those wishing to invoke the symbolic meaning of the deer may have most success and profound experiences while incorporating these associations.

For example, we can honor the deer during a full moon to enhance or draw out some of the deer’s qualities (listed above) within ourselves.

Likewise, honoring the deer with our attention pointed in an eastern direction at dawn will elicit responsive energy too. Nothing fancy (the deer really has no use for pomp and circumsance – her pleasure comes from quiet simplicities) just a solemn nod of your head and a simple “thank you” for deer’s presence will do.

I also looked up the meaning of the wolf from a previous meditation….here is what I found on the same site.

Totem Wolf Symbols

Wolf Meaning and Totem Symbolism of the Wolf

To understand totem wolf symbols, one must first understand the heart of the Wolf. This takes time because the Wolf has had to endure many false stereotypes, misconceptions and misunderstandings.

Not at all the picture of ferocity or terror, the Wolf is a creature with a high sense of loyalty and strength. Another misconception is that of the “lone wolf.” To the contrary, the Wolf is actually a social creature, friendly, and gregarious with its counterparts.

The Wolf is an incredible communicator. By using touch, body movements, eye contact as well as many complex vocal expressions – the wolf makes his point understood. Those with totem wolf symbols are of the same inclination – they are expressive both vocally and physically. Those who have the wolf as their totem animal are naturally eloquent in speech, and also have knack for creative writing.

A quick-list of totem wolf symbolic attributes include:
